Position: Gear Production & Fulfillment Specialist

Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Flexible Schedule: Part-Time to Full-Time

Do you enjoy working with your hands, crafting quality products, and being part of a small but passionate team? Pointer Traditions is looking for a Gear Production & Fulfillment Specialist to help us build and ship the gear that bird dogs and their people depend on.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our workshop. You'll be assembling premium outdoor and pet gear using traditional tools, modern machinery, and old-school craftsmanship. Whether you're riveting a collar, packing up a customer’s order, or fine-tuning a piece of machinery, your attention to detail and pride in your work will help us uphold the standard our brand is known for.

Ideal Candidate: We’re hiring a Manufacturing & Fulfillment Associate at our Hendersonville location! We're looking for someone who has a natural aptitude for understanding how machines and tools work, combined with a strong work ethic and sharp attention to detail. Experience with leather work, industrial sewing, manufacturing outdoor gear or pet products or commercial printing is a big plus, but not required.

This is a part-time to full-time position with full training provided.

What You’ll Do

Assemble outdoor gear using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machines
Fulfill and pack orders with care and accuracy
Inspect products at every stage of production for quality and durability
Follow production plans and meet order deadlines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Learn new skills—every day is a chance to get better.

What We’re Looking For

Strong mechanical instincts—you like figuring out how things work
Comfortable using tools and learning new equipment
Sharp eye for detail and pride in doing things right
Ability to stand or sit for long periods and manage time effectively
Bonus: experience with leatherwork, sewing, outdoor/pet gear manufacturing, or commercial printing.

No formal experience? No problem—we’ll train the right person.

High school diploma or equivalent
